At Proteans, we’ve deleted the term ‘bureaucracy’ from our dictionary. You will only get an open atmosphere to nourish your innermost talents. The HR and managers are accessible at any point of time to confront your problems or doubts. There is a perfect Open Door policy. In fact, there are No Doors!

The other side of the story… We are Proteans. We consciously made the choice to not to be the part of the crowd at the very beginning. And this has led to the metamorphosis of a culture which has a unique vibe we all share. An environment where the delicate balance of freedom and constraint is so naturally maintained, where happiness and joy is the “in thing” – that’s Proteans.

We seek wonder in work and worship it. Or should we say, we seek wonders – continuously in what we do, the way we do. We meet the expectations – NO. We go beyond that.

We take initiatives to keep the Proteans spirit alive and vibrant amongst us. Cloud 9 is one such effort.

Cloud 9

It’s a feeling of euphoric exaltation – being blissfully happy. ‘Cloud 9’ – the highest cloud in the sky which may reach 30,000 to 40,000 feet. So if one is up on ‘cloud nine,’ it means one is high indeed .

And high we are – really – in our spirits. The fun of the good old college days – when we used to sit, party and enjoy – we are not being nostalgic – we do it. Solving the trivia, playing cricket where stakes are higher than an India – Pakistan match, flying kites, quizzing the quizmaster, enacting dumb charades – we do it all.

Life is 3-dimensional, and we live all the 3 dimensions. We work hard, party harder and we are cruising on this journey of our careers, with our friends (we are not colleagues – we are friends working together), having fun, and living each moment.

We have not forgotten that we are part of this society and we owe to it. We take initiatives to donate to orphanages, to relief funds, and to take part in social work activities.

We have just begun and we would continue to imagine newer ways to nourish the Proteans vibe. We would always be on Cloud 9 @ Proteans.
