Social Responsibility
As responsible corporate citizens, we at Proteans recognize that we have a larger responsibility beyond business. We strive to do business by evaluating the consequences and impact of our actions. We seek to contribute to the society in several ways. A strong sense of social responsibility is therefore, an integral part of our value system.
We do our bit of contribution to the society and are involved with The Spastics Society of Karnataka (www.spasticssocietyofkarnataka.org) - a Non-Government Organization (NGO) - dedicated to the welfare of persons with Neuro-Muscular and Developmental Disabilities. The Society provides a Comprehensive Package of Diagnostic and Intervention Services to persons with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Mental Retardation, Multiple Disabilities and Learning Disabilities. The children of the Spastics Society produce a variety of eco-friendly products for various uses. Proteans has actively supported the Society's projects over the years by procuring products produced by these children.
One of the qualities that tie our employees together is their commitment to community service. Several of our employees are involved in various initiatives like contributing to various NGO’s focused on education for under privileged children. Some of our employees are also involved in environment conservation and sustainable development related initiatives.
